With 6mm knitting needles, an indicative 10x10cm gauge corresponds to 10 stitches × 10 rows, while with a 6mm crochet hook, it corresponds to 8 stitches × 10 rows. These values provide a useful reference for assessing stitch density and planning project dimensions.

Actual material consumption depends on the stitch used, working tension, the chosen tool and the dimensions of the finished piece.
